Q. Your own personality in one word?
Fire. It’s not
that I get angry quickly, but when things aren’t decided quickly I can’t stand
it and become frustrated. That kind of impatient personality.
Q. Your opinion about older women?
I like them. Not
simply because of their age, but because I think they’re reliable, responsible,
cool, and they have many things that I can learn about.
Of course, when
it comes to love, I’ll think of them as ‘a girl’ even when they are older!
Q. Will you confess on yourself to the
woman whom you like?
When I think I
don’t want to miss that person, I think I will confess.
Personally, I
don’t want to burden the woman that much though,
but because I
think I need to push her until some point, I think I will frequently contact her
saying “Let’s meet!”
Q. Where will you go for your first date?
Amusement park. We will conquer the rollercoaster and the others!
Q. Something given from a woman that
makes you happy?
When she unexpectedly cares for me.
Like how she
indifferently gives me a towel when I’m sweaty, or how she covered my shoulders
with something when I’m dozing on the sofa.
On the contrary,
if there’s a woman whom I like, and she does them to me, or when it’s my lover
who does them to me, I think I will be greatly happy!

The world’s
thrill or speed, I will make her experience all the exciting things!

you?
I think, tucking
her hair behind her ear is a feminine act.
Just a half year
ago, I was filming a movie so my hair was long, I often tuck my hair behind my
ears. (laughs)
Q. What is a woman’s fashion that you
find cute?
White t-shirt with jeans, I like a simple style.
Q. Junho’s usual fashion?
Although I liked
modern and classic feel until quite recently, I don’t know why but it didn’t
suit me anymore as I shortened my hair and changed its color.
Now, I like sport
style—wearing loose t-shirt and pants, wearing parka, or backwards cap.
Q.Your female type in one word?
Because my
personality is like fire, I maybe good with a woman whose personality is like water.
If there’s such a
woman that can cool me down, I will think of her as a special person.
And, because I
like motorbike, a woman who likes it as well. I think I will fall for a tough
woman who can give me a ride.
Q. Something you currently falls for?
Because I want to
do bungee jumping, I’m encouraging the members to do it as well by saying “Let’s
do it, let’s do it.” But they say “I won’t do it, ever!”
Q. Something that made you emotional recently?
I always feel touched
at the concerts, every time.
In Tokyo Dome,
when I connected with everyone by heart, I was really emotional that it made me
cry. I also cried together with the fans.
Q. Who is the person you set as your
goal/target?
When you set
another person as your goal, I think you’ll become similar to that person.
I’m living with a

Q. How were you when you were little?
A quick kid in
doing everything. I was also fast in running, and I was like that whenever I
went somewhere.
I was a kid who
ate his meal only in 3 minutes after hearing my mother said “Go play after you
eat!”
Also when I play
with my friends, I didn’t bother to call them and directly come to their house
to ask them “Let’s play!”
When I was
little, I learned football, baseball, and swimming, I like them even until the
extent of wanting to be like all the players!
Q. Something that surprised you when you
first came to Japan?
The delicateness
in many ways.
Like when we went
out to eat, the chopsticks ornament are all cute that I felt I wanted to have
them as well.
Q. Japanese dish that you
like and you don’t?
The one I like is ramen. Then one I don’t is tako wasabi!
Q. Your favorite Japanese word?
Daisuki! (I really
like!)
Q. What’s the recent popular matter between
the members?
Sending a “Fighting!”
message in the chatting room only for the members.
“Fighting!” means
“Work hard!” or “Have strength!”, we send those messages when any of us has a
concert or is having any solo activities.
Q. A habit that you unconsciously do?
When I’m
concentrating on doing something, I unconsciously pucker my lips, and (if you
see it from the side) my lips become like “number 3” shape. I found it out for
the first time when the fans said “Your lips look like Nobita’s from Doraemon
when he pouts!” (laughs)
Q. Your favorite body part?
My long arms.
That and the shape of my upper arms.
Although it’s not
like I’m very muscular on those part, I like it because they don’t make me look
thin due to some of their thickness.
Q. What do you do on your day off?
Composing songs!
I like to play while making songs♪ The songs from this album came after I did
that as well.
Your new mini
album after a year is full with excited feeling in all of the tracks!

While the first
album was casual with fresh music,
this time’s “FEEL”,
which leaves casualness and pure parts, is “a hyping matured music” combined
with an inner depths.
It’s an active
album where you can how matured I am than last year with more dynamism.
He revealed his confident of his matured
self through those natural words.
He also changed his hair colour for this
album, and he revealed slight of his maturity which hasn’t been shown until
now.
Fortunately, by
experiencing my first solo tour in Japan last year, I have gained more
responsibility so far, and I have learned lots of things.
How I on my own
should fill that space of the stage that has no the other members, and how I should
make my own music view in order to be enjoyed by the fans. I think I’m considering
about lots of things, and have become stronger as a person.

solo activities for his latest work.

Is that based on matured Junho’s own love
experience?
No, it’s not.
(laughs) Rather than my own experience, it’s more of an indirect experience.
I got the
inspiration either from watching movies or from my friends’ stories.
Just, when the
word “FEEL” suddenly came into mind when I was in a car, an image like the
dynamism of human’s emotion also appeared at the same time.
Whether about people,
music, outfit, and others, there are cases where you say [I like this! It fits
me!] when you face them for the first time, right?
I then started
making the songs as I thought about making one song which is full with the excited
feeling from that moment.
He made the songs in a session through what
feels like playing with a composer whom he even personally knows well.
It was like that
for the previous album as well, but because he said ‘Junho-yah, let’s try to
sing’, and we started with me humming a line and then he played for me by attaching
the chord to it,
it felt like we
completed it by adding another melody and attaching the chord one after another.
Uniquely, the difficult part is, the rap
part of “Turn It Up”.
The tempo is
really fast. (laughs) Although it’s not a problem because I’m almost used to
Japanese pronounciation, but it’s fast anyway... The recording was a bit
difficult.
But, because it’s
an album which I could face really enjoyfully, I wish everyone will also like
it by any means!
After this, is fans’ long-awaited solo
tour concert final in Budokan.
Seems like Junho’s summer will also be
hot this year ♥
