Minjun: Hello. This is Minjun. Nice to meet you euhahaha. I'm always touched by everyone's big love (he literally wrote big sarang, cute!) please give me big love (big sarang) ㅋㅋㅋ

A fan said she wants to see No Love Korean version performance and Minjun replied that he also wants to do it too ^^

A fan asked minjun that has he seen Taec's ex wife on Wonderful days? and he answered ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I dont know who it is XD

Then another fan said she thought Taec's ex wife in Wonderful Days was Minjun then he answered he was suprised too XD

They then talked about the ex wife then Minjun was like 'ex wife.. ex wife right?' then said 'anyway she's pretty right? I'm gonna be pretty too'

Minjun said he finished 2PM's song titled xxxxx xxx he's working on. Also said he already made 3 songs after getting back in kr :D

Fan asked when fans can hear that xxxxx xxx song but Minjun said he doesn't know yet he just made it and added that it's a track made in 2011 but he just made it with a new arrangement a few days ago ^^

A fan asked why minjun wears long sleeves in a such hot summer but minjun replied that's he's not wearing it tho haha. He added that he is wearing a track shirt (?). He said he wears pants now cuz he wore shorts all the time lol also wear sleeveless shirt, said that it exposed his shoulder XD

Fan asked what does he think when composing a song

Minjun: first of all, when I'm making cheerful songs, it will make my mood good somehow. I think it's crazy when I look forward to it. When making sad songs, I'll think about everything and be very sad and then I'll keep on bringing those emotions and do some efforts. If I dont have all these as reasons, then I think it wont work

Fan asked will minjun sing No Love at jypn concert and is there any plan on individual activities until the moment before the cb

Minjun answered: I dont really know. if not, it's not that urgent right, cuz the concert name itself is jyp so it can center about jypn all artists' joint performance

after that another fan asked will they sing girl group's song

minjun then called out that fan's username lol and answered they wont sing... girl group songs

A fan exited the chat room when she's supposed to ask a question so minjun's like ' (username)ㅠㅠㅠ exited.. really sadㅠㅠㅠㅠ she escaped'

A fan asked: 1. you'll be holding an Asia Tour but will there be any concert in Korea? 2. And you really like panda but... what is panda to oppa?

Minjun: 1. for asia tour, maybe we'll do it after the album comes out? We're preparing for it actually 2. rather than liking it, I came to know panda after being told that it resembles me. an interesting animal. it's fierce.be careful. there's a reason that it's not in the zoo

Fan: NO LOVE necklace was out right... (it's very pretty) you're preparing another product right? (looking forward >0<) and please tell if you have something you wish from korean fans in the future or something you're curious about

A fan asked what's minjun interest recently, beside music. Minjun: beside music... I'm really blank.. what is it.. I dont know what to say. For interest, to hang a blackout curtain ㅋㅋㅋ because I sleep after wearing sleeping mask everyday ㅋㅋ I'll hang a blackout curtain ㅋㅋㅋ

A fan asked can w fans expect minjun's korea solo con and is there any plan to perform a cute performance like with you in jypn concert? (she also said that seems like minjun's worn out of emotions (?) as an artist after working so hard in the first half year)

Minjun: I cant excatly say for jypn concert but there will be extremely many of special stages. please look forward to it. worn out of emotions as an artist ㅠㅠ you really know well ㅋㅋㅋ I will live up to your expectations. I'll improve more.

Minjun: To do music and to have my first solo is really meaningful in my life. And of course although I couldn't sing all the songs in Korean, I'm sincerely touched and thankful for the many staff who gave such a good opportunitu to me, to those who wait for me, and to those who loves my music. I think I'll have to work even harder.

(Fans were asking for his selca and minjun said: I'm wearing make up for schedule tho, should I upload a selca? kkk but I'm just wearing a light make up)

and although it's not a formal solo, NO LOVE Korean ver was released and I'm thankful because everyone give lots of love to it. I'm happy, my chest hursts and it's hard when I saw the comments. Q. Please give your comeback comment to the fans who have been waiting since 2PM 3rd full-length album~

A. Genie family, hello~ I’m 2PM’s Jun. K! I was back to see everyone with through my solo album after about a year since 2PM 3rd full-length album. I prepared a lot of things to show a different thing from the one I have shown when I’m together with the members. Please give lots of love~

Q. After 3 years since starting your solo activities by the name ‘Jun. K’ in 2011, you’ve come once again with your solo album. Please introduce the title track NO LOVE!

A. Yes, NO LOVE. It’s a name of a brand I designed on my own with X as the heart, you can say it’s a track graced with that meaning. It’s a track I worked on together with Super Changddai hyung, from our composing team 143v and Kim Eunsoo. I think the charm of this song is how various situations were shown in one music. It’s about the great despair of love put in the beginning and the end of the song, it is to tell the stories about the great reason and the wound from that despair.

Q. Your Japan first solo album ‘LOVE & HATE’ occupied the first place in Oricon and Tower Records when it was released. Your comment?

A. I felt somewhat a little different from the moment I was on the first plave with as a member of 2PM. Actually I have been working hard since December last year for this solo album, fortunately a great result came out, I felt sorry and thankful for everyone who had helped. I actually cried a bit as soon as I heard the news that I was on the first place.....^^ Once again I want to thank everyone!

Q. It became a topic that 2PM members all came to your Japan solo tour which had come to an end. The secret to the heartwearming friendship of this 6th year debuted idols?

A. The members didn’t have any schedule in Japan though, I was very thankful, and happy that they even came to Japan to support me. Even Jinyoung hyung also came to see my final concert and praised me, but I thought I will have to work even harder. Eum... By reaching our 6th year, every member has really many individual schedules but we contact each other more and monitor each other’s activities while supporting that’s why we’re like real brothers now^^

Q. Please tell us your activity plan this year.

A. Alright, first of all although I’m having a break from the busy first half year, I’m planning to work hard on composing songs in order to show a cool look of mine to everyone. Also, I’m currently preparing a lot of things with the members to show our good performance as 2PM soon, please look forward to it! The weather is really hot nowadays, please always be careful~ Thank you. ^^

Quick steps and sharp eyes checking the visual. It’s the impression of observant Jun. K at the studio throughout the 5 hours. He apparead with hurried steps after feeling uneasy for making others wait as he changed the clothes for next cut. “Should I stand here? Should I do like this?” Him who made everyone on the set be immersed with his good feeling energy. Jun. K whom everyone knows was right there. Now we’re going to try for a slight different story. Jun. K is a singer-songwriter and album producer. He’s hiding in that world behind an artist who’s carefully worrying about the song and music video concept, even the stage production. He’s destroying the wall confining himself in 2PM little by little. Ferocity and perfectionism on his near personality are the catalyst to that to-be-nonexistant wall.

Your first solo album “LOVE & HATE” came out.

While it is a good opportunity, it is also a meaningful album. Because it has been 12 years that I learned music on my own and made songs. I thought this is the time for me to show something.

You composed all the songs.

Part of them are from the sketched songs which the ideas I had taken notes previously, and newly made songs as well. Though it’s too bad that I could only have album acitivities in Japan. Preparing the album while making the songs was fun, and also hard. I was worried about the music liked by the public and the music which shows my individuality.

How did you solve that worry.

I thought it should be unique, that it’s the music I want to do, and when the public hears it, it will have my individuailty by all means. I really don’t want it to be overlapping, between who, or which kind of music it is and the image of it. By having that on mind, I made this album while thinking about a music which I can pull off well and at the same time contains my individuality. The genre of the album is also R&B, Ballad, Dance, etc, it’s not restricted to one genre only. It can give Hip Hop, R&B, and Jazz feelings from the Black Music which I had learnt from before.

There is also a song in which you work with world pianist, Lang Lang.

The song is called ‘Real Love’. When it’s made in the beginning, it’s a song with jazz melody. Then I received a video of Lang Lang playing the piano, there he showed how he played the rythm as he wanted it. I got the feeling that the song will come to life if we work together, one with piano and one with vocal. That’s why I changed the genre altogether and left only the piano. We beat it coolly.

Japanese artist also participated in featuring.

A singer called AI did featuring in a song titled ‘No Music No Life’. She’s a really popular R&B singer back in Japan, and I think the J-Pop feels definitely sprang up after she sang it. I also met a rapper named SIMON when I was looking for Hip Hop video. I asked him as I thought it would be good if we worked together.

Seems like you’re motivated beforehand as it’s you first album.

I really was. It’s because I didn’t only think about the music itself while when I was making a song, but  also planned the concept of the performance. That also can be sort of my greed. For example, I planned the stage throught the song ‘No Love’ during the tour concert like this. First, someone in LED panda mask shows up and walks to the thrust stage. He sits in front of a white piano and just repeatedly plays one note. When the panda lifted his hand high, the song will start. Then on the stage I will show why I wrote the lyric for the song. ‘It will be an end when I walk through alone’, there’s such lyric that means falling into low self-esteem. To express that, I will appear on the stage with a praying pose. In the later part of the song, I will sit and play the piano together with the panda. I planned it like this.

It’s really detailed.

That’s how it is. I made the song while thinking about such element and concept for the performance. The song ‘True Swag’ is a hip hop one and I planned it while thinking about the performance.

Jun. K, who is rising with absolute popularity as 2PM member and lead vocal, releases his first solo album ‘LOVE & HATE’ as Jun. K (From 2PM) this time.

Even in 2PM, he’s a writer, who also composes songs and shows his great talent, and produce the whole thing for this time project!

His strong persistence in music, sharing stories about love views through his journey in music until now.

Rather than pressure, I enjoy it! Be filled with my experiences and thoughts

You released your first solo mini album ‘LOVE & HATE’ on 5/14 as Jun. K (From 2PM). How did you feel?

First of all, it had been 12 years since I started working on music by the time the album release was determined. I thought that to be able to release my own solo album itself is a glorious thing. I dealt with the details in the album of how to express what kind of music Jun. K does, or what kind of artist Jun. K is.

Don’t you feel pressured?

Rather than pressure, I think I enjoy it more. Whether it’s because the passion of the music I’ve kept on collecting until now, or that this is a given chance to be able to express the music I’ve wanted to express until now...

I think this is a really good opportunity and I really want to work hard in order to optimize this opportunity. 

Although you directly wrote and compose the tracks for this album, you are also doing activities for tour and album as 2PM, it seems to be a very tiring schedule.

It was really tiring. But as I have been continuously doing tiring schedules as 2PM until now, I think I was already trained for it ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

This time I carefully made it until the extent of giving my every idea on the composing, mastering, album jacket design, music video concept even the outfits. Even I myself was that busy, I wanted it to be well done ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

The reason of ‘LOVE & HATE’ as the album title, is there any theme you’re going through?

‘LOVE & HATE’ is a phrase I had come to think of since 5, 6 years ago, I thought if I ever had the opportunity to release a solo album someday, I’d like to make it with that theme. 

It’s an extremely interesting expression to me, as I give various ideas... I got ideas there for the track and illustration, music video and the jacket. Based on the things I’ve felt and the moments I’ve taken note eversince I was born until now, I’m thinking to put all of them into this album.

The thing you took notes?

When I thought of an idea, I directly wrote it in my handphone memo. I wrote the ideas I got for jacket, lyrics, music video, design, etc, by dividing them into each category.

It feels like Jun. K’s only treasure-chest-phone.

And also, when a song melody came into mind, I even directly recorded it. I also put ideas of songs in my phone. That’s why I always need it and bring it around.

It would be a big problem if you lost you phone.

Rightㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ That’s why I’m always doing back-ups well.
